Advisory board
From the very beginning of the ADIR project an advisory board was established to accompany the project consortium with the expertises of key players in the field of telecommunication services and products. The advisory boards consisted of representatives from the following enterprises:
The advisory board provided recommendations with respect to the needs for the recycling line to meet both legal and environmental European requirements, potential for extraction of raw material as well as parts that can be re-used and to prioritise by material not only with economic but also environmental considerations. On a regular basis the representatives took part in the general assembly meetings of ADIR. Moreover, they provided mobile phones and printed circuit boards from servers for the studies performed in the ADIR project and the field tests conducted at the facility of ECG in Goslar, Germany.
